YOU ASK WHY DO I FOLLOW THIS JESUS?
You ask why I follow this Jesus? Why I love Him the way I do? When the world turned away from His teachings and the people who serve Him are few.
It's not the rewards I'm after or gifts that I hope to receive. It's the Presence that calls for commitment. It's the Spirit I trust and believe. It’s the ordination that was formed before the foundation of the world.
The Lord doesn't shelter His faithful or spare them all suffering and pain, like everyone else I have burdens, and walk through my share of rain.
Yet He gives me a plan and a purpose, and that joy only Christians have known, I never know what comes tomorrow, but I do know I'm never alone. And am standing too close to be denied.
It's the love always there when you need it; it's the words that redeem and inspire, it's the longing to ever be with Him That burns in my heart like a fire.
So you ask why I love my Lord Jesus? Well, friend, that's so easy to see, but the one thing that fills me with wonder is Why Jesus loves someone like me? Who grew up with no future and no dream of my own? Growing up in the dark village on the shores of Lake Victoria, walking 20miles every day going to school with no shoes in my feet and no dinner sometimes. When I say I love my Lord Jesus, I mean it for I know where He brought me from, where He picked me up. Trust me when I say this, He makes things out of nothing, I am a living testimony that God can put a way where there is no way. Whenever you say it’s impossible remember God is there to bring the impossibilities into life. Give yourself to Him and be willing to walk with Him and watch what is going to happen in your life. In Genesis 6:8 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” this is what we need to find in the eyes of God “GRACE” and in verse 9 it says that “Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation, and Noah walked with God”.
If you are reading this I am no more than you and Noah was no more than us, just be you and walk with God the rest is going to be history.
This is what God is talking to you right now: -
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13). Put your eyes on Him and listen for what He has to say, God speaks to each one of us.
Stay with Him because you are pregnant with your miracle and you do not want to be alone in the labor room, you have come a long way to let your baby miracle die in the labor.
